Cocoon

is a wall-mounted object designed for the staging of single items.


Unlike traditional shelving that focuses on storage and organization, Cocoon shifts the focus entirely onto the individual object. Its soft transitions and clean opening enclose a visually isolated interior, where depth, weight, and structure are largely dissolved.
 Finished with Musou Black, a paint that absorbs almost all incoming light, the interior acts like a void or a boundless empty space. Combined with an integrated inner tray, objects appear to float without disturbing the visual stillness, detaching them from their surrounding context and amplifying their perception.
